The procedure used in motor vehicles
1 Place the device horizontally, outside the car, next to the driver's or passenger's door, and connect it to a 220V power outlet.
2 Set the air circulation to the constant circulation position, with the fan set to minimum, to allow decontamination of the entire circulation. If possible, it is recommended that a dust filter (also if new) is placed inside the cabin during the procedure.
3 Place the tube with the distribution porous ceramic tip on the interior rearview mirror, guiding the connecting tube through the door window. Leave the window closed enough that it does not crumble the tube. Then switch the device on for 30 minutes (then ventilate the cabin for 10 ÷ 15 minutes).
4 Check to see if unpleasant odors are still emitted from the air conditioning system.
5 If they are not felt, the donation procedure is completed.
6 If they continue to extract, place the porous ceramic ending on the external air inlet and set the air circulation to the normal position, with the airflow fan set to the minimum. Then switch the device on for 15 minutes (then ventilate the cabin for 10 ÷ 15 minutes).
7. At this time, in 90% of cases, the decontamination procedure is completed, but WARNING Some car models have the air conditioner evaporator installed in an offset position relative to the air circuit. This causes that the air stream drawn in by the blowing fan flows in different ways, preventing the optimal effect of ozone on the condensate and on the mildew that forms on the condenser. This is the reason for the drastic decrease in the ability of ozone to act on bacteria and mold, which partly worsens the final result of the disinfection.
